Montréal 2027 Worldcon Team Scholarship Programme Application

Montreal 2027 is funding a Team Scholarship Program. We are aware of the commitment that people make to volunteering and recognize that not all who want to volunteer have the resources to do so. 

We are also aware that our time to collect institutional knowledge from older fans is passing. If you are interested in deepening your volunteer skills in an area you are less familiar with this program may be for you!

Please fill out the application if you are interested in knowing more. Financial need, while a consideration, is not the sole basis of award grants, so don't hesitate to apply if you're willing to learn more about being a team level volunteer!

This must be the legal name that you use for financial transactions.  (This does NOT have to be the name on your badge; this is needed to deliver ANY award.)
If you wish to use a nickname or a handle this is where you put that.  Be aware that financial awards, including Attending Member Supplements, MUST be awarded in your legal name, the one you use for financial transactions.

Montréal 2027 Worldcon expectations are that you will volunteer before the convention in planning and preparation work, that you will arrive a minimum of 1 day prior to the convention as well as volunteer at the convention, and that you will be expected to fulfill the duties of a senior team member. This is NOT a 3 hour shift and then done position.
